I’m a political body whether I like it or not. Who I choose to date, where I choose to live, my dress, my speech. My children are born political without choice and my friends are political just by engaging with me:
I have weaponised the felt tip pen, through refinement and critique. They aid my beliefs of equality in art practice and help communicate messages of lived experience alongside titles that disturb, entertain and storytell. These experiences, not all have had, but the materiality of them, the felt tip, indiscriminately lives within all our lived experience as children. A frank reminder of what little else touches everybody soci0-economically.
